Early Intervention and
Inclusive Practices
At Pebble Place, we believe in celebrating the unique strengths and abilities of every child. Our educators are trained to observe and identify children who may benefit from early intervention support.
We are committed to providing an inclusive learning environment where all children can thrive.
Identifying and Supporting Individual Needs
Our educators are skilled in recognizing a range of developmental differences and atypical behaviors in young children. When an educator observes that a child may require additional support, we take a proactive approach:
Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
1
Accomodation strategies involve adapting the learning environment or instructional methods to help the child access the curriculum.
We develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the child's specific needs. These plans outline personalized learning goals, as well as specific accommodation and assimilation strategies.
2
Assimilation strategies focus on supporting the child's active participation and integration within the classroom. These strategies are implemented in the classroom and can also be supported at home.

Integrated Learning Environment
We do not have a separate space for children requiring intervention. Instead, we believe in the importance of inclusion and providing support within the mainstream classroom setting. This approach helps children develop essential social skills and prepares them for integration into mainstream school environments.

External Partnerships
In-house Speech & Language Therapist (SLT)
We work closely with external programs, such as EIPIC (Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children), to provide more intensive intervention when necessary.
We have an in-house Speech & Language Therapist who can provide assessments and therapy, and work closely with families to support their child's communication development.
