Early years

18 months to 3 years old

During this crucial stage, children experience significant growth across various domains. Our curriculum is designed to support and enhance the following developmental milestones:

Language

🔠

Children develop their ability to understand and use language, both receptively (listening) and expressively (speaking). This includes expanding their vocabulary, forming simple sentences, and following instructions.

Activities

  • Interactive storytime and read-aloud sessions to enhance listening and comprehension skills.

  • Opportunities for conversational practice to develop expressive language.

  • Vocabulary-building activities using songs, rhymes, and games.

Motor Skills

🤽

Both gross and fine motor skills are honed through various activities. Gross motor skills involve the use of large muscles for movements like running, jumping, and climbing. Fine motor skills involve the use of small muscles for activities like drawing, stacking blocks, and manipulating objects.

Activities

  • Gross motor activities such as outdoor play, aerobics, Zumba, and dance routines to promote physical coordination and balance.

  • Fine motor activities including art and craft, cooking, manipulative play with blocks and puzzles, and sensory exploration.

Social-Emotional

🙂

Children learn to manage their emotions, develop self-awareness, and build positive relationships with peers and adults. They begin to understand social cues, cooperate with others, and resolve conflicts.

Activities

  • Circle time activities to encourage group interaction, sharing, and emotional expression.

  • Opportunities for collaborative play and group projects to foster cooperation and teamwork.

  • Activities that promote self-regulation, empathy, and conflict resolution skills.

(Independence)

🥣

Children develop essential life skills such as self-feeding, dressing, and toilet training, fostering independence and self-confidence.

Activities

  • Activities that encourage self-help skills, such as mealtime routines, dressing practice, and toileting support.

  • Real-life experiences that promote independence and responsibility.
