The Parent Survival Club
An open mic session starting with "No, And...?" — for shoes that won't go on, teeth that won't be brushed, and pyjamas that won't come off.
Time & Location
24 Jul 2026, 19:00 – 21:00 GMT+8
Singapore, 16 Pebble Ln, Singapore 437565
About the event
At Pebble, Playlabs are where children turn skills into something real — Writer's Workshop, Culinary Arts, Makerlabs. This time, we made one for parents: Grown-Up Playlab, an applied, no-lecture way of practising parenting skills, the same way we teach kids.
Because raising tiny humans is wonderfully exhausting.
Happy hour from 6pm — light bites and drinks before we start.
What You'll Take Away
🧠 Figure out why "put your shoes on" turns into a full negotiation
🎭 Borrow a few real skills from improv comedy — the same ones used to hold a scene together when everything's falling apart
😅 Practice keeping your wits when "you're not the boss of me" gets thrown your way
❤️ Leave with strategies you can actually use, without repeating yourself 27 times
No judgement. No 'perfect' parents.
Just an evening of laughing at how ridiculous all of this is. Together.
