Hanson came to early childhood education as a parent — visiting schools for his own child, looking closely at what made them different, and discovering that the question of how children really learn was one he couldn't stop thinking about. When he found Pebble Place, and discovered a deep alignment with Bianca and Mrs Zita in values and approach, he saw something worth building further — a school that already took care of its educators, partnered genuinely with parents, and understood that children don't grow in isolation. They grow in communities. As Director, Hanson leads curriculum strategy, brand, and community. He holds the conviction that Singapore's independent early childhood sector has a responsibility to push forward — to take risks, set new standards, and give the broader system something to think about. Pebble Place exists, in part, to do exactly that. Alongside his work at Pebble, he continues to build growth frameworks across Southeast Asia — leading regional teams, scaling new markets, bringing the same systems thinking and first-principles reasoning to both worlds. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Summa Cum Laude) in Engineering Systems and Design from SUTD, with a specialisation in Economics and Operations Research. "We don't just prepare children for the world. We invite them to think about the world we share."

Bianca didn't arrive at early childhood education through a textbook. She spent seven years at the Dyslexia Association of Singapore and six years in Speech and Language Therapy — and that lived experience became the foundation of how she teaches and leads. Over more than a decade at Pebble Place, she has shaped what learning looks and feels like here — for every child who walks through our doors. Her formal training reflects the same breadth. She holds a diploma from Temasek Polytechnic, a degree from SIT–Wheelock College, a Diploma in Dyslexia Studies with a focus on the Orton-Gillingham approach, and a Diploma in Leadership (ADCEL). She is also an ECDA scholarship recipient. Her specialism in dyslexia is not incidental — it has deeply informed how Pebble thinks about differentiated learning, language development, and what it means to meet a child where they are. As a mother of three, she brings that same conviction home — and back again every morning. "If learning isn't engaging, it won't be absorbed — no matter how good the content."
