Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 November 2026
Pebble Place Development Centre ("Pebble Place", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal data, in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). It applies to this website, enquiries made through it, WhatsApp, email or phone, and to families whose children attend Pebble Place.
What we collect
When you enquire or book a visit: your name, email, phone number, your child's name, birth month and year, intended enrolment month, how you heard about us, and anything you choose to tell us.
When your child enrols: the details on our registration and enrolment forms, including parent and child particulars, emergency contacts, authorised pick-up persons, health, allergy and medical information, and documents needed for government subsidy claims.
While your child is with us: attendance records, developmental observations and reports, and photos, videos and recordings of daily activities. Our premises are covered by CCTV.
When you apply to work with us: the details in your application.
When you visit this website: basic technical information collected through cookies, such as pages viewed and browser type.
How we use it
To reply to your enquiry and arrange visits.
To register your child, provide care and education, and keep your child safe and well.
To share your child's learning and daily moments with you.
To contact you in an emergency.
To process fees and government subsidies.
To meet our legal and regulatory duties, including those to the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA).
To send you news and invitations about Pebble Place, if you have agreed to receive them.
To improve this website and our services.
Photos and videos
Photos and videos of children are used to share learning with families, for educator training and reflection, and, with consent, to share our community's learning online. When we share content publicly, we protect children's identities. You can withdraw consent for media use at any time by telling us.
Who we share it with
Your personal data is seen only by Pebble Place staff who need it. We share it only when necessary with: government agencies such as ECDA, for licensing and subsidies; our insurer; service providers who help us run the centre, such as our website, email and messaging providers; and student-teachers on supervised practicum, who may collect photos and recordings for their coursework. We do not sell your personal data.
Some of our service providers store data outside Singapore. When that happens, we take steps to make sure your data is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept for up to two years from your last contact with us, then deleted. Records for enrolled children are kept for as long as your child is with us and afterwards for as long as the law or our licensing requires. CCTV footage is kept for a limited period and viewed only as our handbook describes.
How we protect it
Access is limited to staff who need it, and we use reasonable security measures to protect your data. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, so please contact us if you think your data has been put at risk.
Cookies
This website uses cookies to work properly and to help us understand how it is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent for us to use it. You can stop receiving updates from us at any time. If you withdraw consent, we may not be able to continue some services, and we will explain what that means before acting on it. We will respond to requests within 30 days, or tell you if we need longer.
