How much does Pebble Place cost?
Our monthly fees before government subsidies:
Half Day (all ages): SGD 1,300
Full Day: SGD 1,700 (18 to 30 months), SGD 1,600 (31 months and above)

Are government subsidies available?
Yes. As an ECDA-licensed childcare centre, children at Pebble Place may be eligible for the childcare subsidy administered by ECDA. The subsidy is means-tested — the amount you receive depends on your
household income. Subsidies apply to Singaporean Citizens.

What ages does Pebble Place accept?
We welcome children from 18 months to 6 years old.
Our Early Years programme is for children aged 18 to 30 months. Our Kindergarten programme covers Nursery 2 (N2, 4 years old), Kindergarten 1 (K1, 5 years old) and Kindergarten 2 (K2, 6 years old).

What is the teacher-to-child ratio?
We keep our ratios flexible so every child gets the right level of attention for what they are doing at any given moment.
In Early Years, ratios range from 1:1 during individual moments to 4:20 during group activities like outdoor play.
In our Kindergarten programme, from 1:6 in small group work to 2:24 in whole-class experiences like storytelling and drama.
Ratios shift with context, not with a clock. What stays constant is that every child is known, not just supervised.

What is your Chinese bilingual programme like?
We treat Mandarin the way children actually acquire language: through real use and genuine connection, not by carving out a timed 'Chinese hour'.
At Pebble, Mandarin is woven into daily life. Chinese-speaking educators are part of the team. We have dedicated Chinese learning spaces, and interactions in Mandarin happen purposefully — not by rote.
The goal is not a child who performs Mandarin when required. It is a child who reaches for the language because it feels natural and meaningful to them.

How do I enrol my child at Pebble Place?
We recommend that you start with a centre visit. Fill in the contact form on our Contact Us page. Let us know your child's intended
programme level and a preferred timeslot, and our team will confirm a time.
When you visit, we'll have an honest conversation about whether Pebble is the right fit for your family. If it is, we'll guide you through registration and the ECDA subsidy application from there.

Is there a waiting list?
Yes, particularly for Early Years. We have a small number of places each intake and they fill up quickly.
We recommend reaching out at least 3 to 6 months before your intended start date. The earlier you contact us, the more likely we can hold a place for your child's preferred start term.

Is Pebble Place ECDA-licensed?
Yes. Pebble Place Development Centre is fully licensed by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA). All our educators hold ECDA-recognised early childhood qualifications and are ECDA-registered practitioners.
We also function as a teaching school, supervising student-teachers from partner institutions under the direct guidance of our qualified staff. This means the educators here are regularly reflecting on their
practice, not just following a script.

What curriculum does Pebble Place follow?
Our curriculum is aligned to the ECDA Nurturing Early Learners (NEL) framework and delivered through a constructivist, design-thinking approach. We draw on the traditions of Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and play-based learning — grounded in the belief that children build knowledge through experience, not instruction.
Our proprietary Pebble Pathways framework gives this its practical shape, in the relationships, rhythms, and values we return to every day. The curriculum is not a schedule — it is a set of conditions we create so children can learn in the way they are wired to learn.

Does Pebble Place support children with additional learning needs?
Yes. We have an in-house Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) who provides assessments and therapy. For children who need additional support, we develop Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to their profile — delivered within the mainstream classroom, not in a separate space.
For children who require more intensive intervention, we partner with EIPIC (Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children). Inclusion is not a programme at Pebble Place; it is built into the
way we work.
